Baby Belle, aka Baby Beelzebub

Baby Belle just won the inaugural Goat-of-the-Year contest, so she will be the farm's spokesgoat for 2007. She is on the cover of the first-ever annual farm calendar, available now at Lulu.

You wouldn't know it from this demure picture, but Baby Belle is quite a character. That's really all we can say. She is smart and funny and cute. She is an escape artist with a knack for getting into trouble. Big trouble, preferably. She loves people.

She has lost a step since the yearling days when no fence would hold her, but she still knows how to hit the open door with perfect timing.

Her daughter, Hannah Belle, also loves trouble and is an expert at making it.
