Hannah Belle
When Hannah Belle (Belle X Marquee) was born she was about the cutest little tike you could imagine. 
And sweet as sugar: she loved nothing more than snuggling in your lap and going to sleep. Little did we know she would soon become a holy terror, so much so that she is sometimes called Hannah Belle Lecter.
After Baby Belle, we thought we had seen the limits of Nigerian escape artistry. No, not quite. I would be embarrassed to list all the locations that Hannah Belle has escaped from, but to mention a few: 
she has escaped from the padlocked tack room; she has escaped from a locked, fully enclosed horse trailer; she has escaped from inside the (locked, of course) canopy of a pickup truck. Of course she has escaped from inside a four-foot fence - she would not really even consider that escaping - and from inside a five-foot no-climb fence. In this picture, she demonstrates how laughably easy it is to escape from a regular goat stall.
When Hannah Belle was 4 months and 28 days pregnant, she could no longer really jump. So she tried to escape through a five-panel gate. I don't know quite how she managed to get wedged in, but she certainly couldn't get out. 
Our guard dog Atticus alerted me that she was stuck in the gate, bawling her head off. She had to be cut out with the jaws of life (bolt cutters, really). Did this deter her? Was she sobered or chagrined? Did she see the error of her ways?
No, the next day she was at the back door, butting her way into the mud room to see if there were any more snacks available. Between Belle and Hannah Belle, we have completely redone our Nigerian fencing. We assure you that that fencing that you have had for years and years that has held your big goats with no problem WILL NOT hold Nigerians.
